On the 5th, the talent agency Avex announced that singer Omori Seiko, who is affiliated with the company, will be leaving the agency at the end of March.
Avex announced on Omori’s official website, “We would like to inform you that as of March 31, 2025, Avex Clan Inc. and Omori Seiko’s exclusive management contract will end, and therefore her exclusive performer contract with Avex Music Creative Inc., her record company, will also end”.
Regarding the future, they said, “Although she will be leaving our company, Omori Seiko will continue her musical activities as before, so we ask for your continued support”.
Omori also posted a message on her X, announcing that “My contract with the management (Avex Clan Inc.) and record company (Avex Music Creative Inc.), who have been with me for the past 10 years, has come to an end.” She continued, “I chose to embark on a musical journey with Avex, wanting to deliver my music to girls who can’t even take one step outside their rooms or social media. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to create so many songs.” She also called out, “I will continue to live my life and music with a DIY spirit even after April, so please feel free to come and see me again and again whenever you like”.
Avex announced that the fan club site will be closed, but the closing date and details will be announced separately from the fan club.
