The return of The Grace’s Dana, to appear on a Lifetime Korea reality show

Back in the early 2000s, Dana was to be the “next BoA”.

Starting off as a solo artist for SM Entertainment, while her solo career may have not met expectations of all the hype, she made a strong return in 2005 in the group CSJH The Grace (aka Tenjochiki in Japan) which consisted of members Lina, Dana, Sunday and Stephanie.

The group would achieve success but after a back injury suffered by Stephanie in 2010, Dana and Sunday would continue on as a sub-unit duo, as member Lina focused on musicals.

And while Dana was active up to 2012, performing at SMTown Live World Tour III, Stephanie would go on to release a digital single in 2016.

As for Dana, she hasn’t been seen all that much…until now.

Media reports have shown Dana, who has gained 30 kilograms (66 pounds) since her last performance and SMTOWN released a video that “2018.11.21 DANALDA IS COMING”.

It appears to be a reality TV show which features Dana being given the opportunity to return back to celebrity life and Dana wanting to become healthy for her fans.

Another video (with English subtitles) was released in which a teary-eyed Dana explained how she gained the weight.  From the publicized breakup to losing a good friend in a tragedy, she locked herself up for a year and gained the weight.

The show will air on Lifetime Korea on November 21st.
