Back on June 18th, it was reported that Kitagawa Johnny was rushed to the hospital on June 18th.
A little after noon time, a 119 call was placed that Johnny had fallen. Many media gathered at the hospital but was taken to a different hospital and a lot of speculation has been progressing regarding to Kitagawa’s health.
It was revealed that Kitagawa was hospitalized for a brain hemorrhage (subarachnoid hemorrhage/cerebral aneurism).
Johnny’s announced that Kitagawa passed away on July 9th due to complications from the subarachnoid hemorrhage at a hospital in Tokyo at 16:47 p.m.
Johnny’s Jimusho was founded back in 1962 and Kitagawa Johnny (87), the president of Johnny’s Jimusho, is known for producing many male idol groups including SMAP and ARASHI.
