You walk through Japan and you noticed that there is a convenience store (Konbini) located everywhere. Seven Eleven, Family Mart, Lawson, etc.
But which convenience store dominates Japan? It may surprise you.
A power map was introduced by Nyankosoba @ Data Visualization (@ShinagawaJP), the operator of the map site “5656map”, showcasing the 51,000 convenience stores all throughout Japan.
While Seven Eleven in red is seen in a large amount of areas in the Kanto and Kyushu region, parts of the Chugoku region.
Family Mart in green dominates the Chubu region and part of the Kinki region.
You see a few Daily Yamazaki in the Chubu region (especially in Gifu) and other areas as well. And pockets of Ministop’s in the Kansai region.
While Lawson in blue dominates the Tohoku region in the north and Shikoku region towards the west, splits with Seven-Eleven in the Chugoku region. And even dominates the small islands.
But Hokkaido is purely dominated by Seico Mart.
Comments on SNS are as follows:
Hokkaido is an orange empire!
Hokkaido’s safe and stable due to Secoma
Seico Mart is dominant in Hokkaido. They also have lunch boxes and side dishes prepared in-store, and I feel like they are loved by the people of Hokkaido!
I like Hello Hello… I want more Ministop.
I’ve never been to Hokkaido, so I don’t know, but is it Seicomart from end to end?
Seicomart is the best hot chef (products cooked in the store), and plastic bags are free. By the way, today’s dinner. All of these are available at Seicomart.
A long time ago when I lived in Akita, there were a lot of camel marts.
It’s interesting to see the influence I’m satisfied because there are Seven, Famima, Lawson, and Ministop in my neighborhood ♫ Since there are no Daily Yamazaki and Seicomart, I want you to extend your influence to the Kansai countryside! ! !
When I went on a trip to Takayama (in Gifu) the other day, I saw Daily Yamazaki here and there, so I thought Gifu would have a lot of them, but when I looked at this, it turned out to be an area with a lot of them.
This is a good picture of the store opening plan. Seven, Famima, which is expanding in areas with many people. Lawson has evenly distributed stores. I don’t know much about Seico Mart. From the point of view of logistics, it’s Seven, FamilyMart, but Lawson is contributing to underpopulated areas, so I want you to do your best.
It was last year, but when I went shopping at Seicoma, I was happy that they put it in a bag (free of charge) as a matter of course. Bread and side dishes are reasonably priced and hot chef are really delicious, so I want them to spread nationwide.
I’m surprised that Ministop has the upper hand (Ishikawa Prefecture people) Before, when we went to Gifu and Aichi for a club competition, everyone was excited to see Ministop from inside the bus, and all the boys left the hotel at night. Ministop is so fresh that I went to Ministop.
There aren’t many Ministops… but they’re strong because they’re AEON affiliates… Maybe Daily Yamazaki? For the time being, Ministop’s soft cream is the best.
I went to Seicoma again today .Secoma brand ice cream, hot chef, yogurt and milk are also delicious In Hokkaido, only Seicoma wins.
I thought that 7-Eleven was popular nationwide.
Seicoma is great~ It’s been a while since I moved to Tokyo, but I still miss hot chef’s katsudon.
Personally, I think if Seicomart was nearby, FamilyMart would be nearby. There are only 7’s in my neighborhood, and it seems like 7-Elevens are crushing each other. I want 😅 another convenience store.😓
Ministop’s Anno sweet potato soft serve is delicious.
It’s true that there are a lot of 7-Eleven stores, but Ishikawa Prefecture has a lot of family marts that have absorbed Circle K Sunkus (^ _ ^;), but Lawson and Daily are still there.
