Reactions from South Korean trainees to HKT48's Miyawaki Sakura and SKE48's Matsui Jurina on "Produce 48" was fascinating

There is a lot of talk in regards to the first episode of “Produce 48”, the Mnet survival reality TV show featuring 96 trainees from Japan and South Korea and features a collaboration between Mnet’s “Produce 101” of South Korea and the J-Pop idol group AKB48.

The winning 12 contestants as voted only by Korean viewers will be part of a group for two and a half years.

If there is one thing that people learned from episode 1 of “Produce 48”, it’s that the South Korean trainees on the show were looking forward to seeing and meeting HKT48’s Miyawaki Sakura.

But SKE48’s Matsui Jurina freaked people out when she had her eye on the #1 seat. Matsui is competitive and that competitive fire no doubt led to her winning the Queen center position of the AKB48 Sekai Senbatsu Sousenkyo, but how will she fare on “Produce 48”?

Aside from AKB4’s Takeuchi Miyu who received an A rating, unfortunately Japanese idols are not faring too well on the show…

And a preview features Matsui Jurina and Miyawaki Sakura about to perform. Hopefully these two will fare much better… But while the Korean trainees are showing us great vocals and choreography, hopefully Matsui and Miyawaki give viewers a great show!
