Miyawaki Sakura’s “Bad Girl” performance of BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” for “Produce48” leads views on YouTube for ep. 6/7 eye-contact videos

Mnet posted the eye-contact videos for episodes 6 and episode 7 (to air this Friday) and HKT48’s Miyawaki Sakura leads in video views with over 148,000 views in the first few hours after posting.

Miyawaki chose BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” to cover and so far, many are applauding her choice to do something much different and challenging.

Many commenting on YouTube that they didn’t recognize her because she looked so different.

In second place is Takeuchi Miyu with over 97,000 votes and her group’s cover of a BTS slowjam.

In third place is Heo Yoon Jin (Kirin-chan) (#22) from the United States (the last American still in competition), who has over 82,000 views for her group’s cover of GIRLS’ GENERATION’s “Into the New World”.
