HORIPRO issued a statement in regards to man arrested for sending a threatening fax to media about NGT48’s Ogino Yuka

HORIPRO CORPORATION who represents NGT48’s Ogino Yuka have sent a statement of an individual arrested for a criminal intimidation against Ogino.

According to the statement, a suspect, 24-year-old Domoto Kazuki sent a threatening fax to a news organization on May 9th suggesting he wanted to kill NGT48’s Ogino Yuka.

Niigata prefectural police said Domoto from Kyoto Prefecture admitted to sending the fax but denied any intention of killing Ogino.  A record of the fax transmission and security camera footage led to his arrest.

HORIPRO CORPORATION is asking for a strict punishment to the individual involved.

As a result, security has been strictly tightened and that Ogino has been in fear and that the company will deal with illegal threats against their client strictly, including legal procedures.
