KimuTaku joins Instagram

Actor/singer and former SMAP member, Kimura Takuya (aka KimuTaku) created his own Instagram account and made his first post.

Kimura wrote about how he will use Instagram as a tool to communicate with his fans in Japan and also outside of Japan. He also praised those who work in health care, as well as those who are working as garbage collectors.

Kimura also gave an update on the upcoming “BG” drama sequel and that at this time, shooting a drama is not yet possible given the current coronavirus situation and also the extended emergency declaration.

Currently, Kimura is only following Johnny’s Smile Up! Project and because the account is more geared for professional use (more than likely he probably won’t follow his family) but given the nature of the changes that Johnny’s is making to become more open and less restrictive, will he follow his wife Kudo Shizuka and daughters Cocomi and Koki who are quite active on Instagram?

We’ll have to wait and see.
