UPDATE: Kamen Joshi’s Igari Tomoka was taken to ICU for emergency surgery

Kamen Joshi member Igari Tomoka was taken to ICU for emergency surgery on April 11th.

On Wednesday, there was a spring storm and a strong gust of wind blew a signboard that was standing near the main gate of Yushima Seido in Bunkyo Ward and hit Igari, who was walking by.

Alice Project updated their website that Igari was taken to the hospital for an emergency operation and she was kept in ICU.  Because Igari was seriously injured, any entertainment activities featuring Igari will be suspended.

Kamiya Erina wrote, “About Igari’s injury which was covered both on the new sand social media, emergency surgery was done as a result of a fracture in her back caused by a signboard that flew due to the wind.  The surgery has ended and she is in the intensive care unit (ICU) right now.  We do not have any details, we are in the same situation as of all of you.  I am very worried and feel very uneasy”.

Kamiya also wrote, “I really want to see her now but it is to difficult at this time.  I will wait for her to come back home with a smiling face like a sunflower.  I will wait for Igari’s health to get better and I will pray for her.  I can only pray to God and wait”.

NOTE: It is not known what kind of injury at this time and if it was a fractured vertebrae or spinal compression fracture
