Former Morning Musume member Ishikawa Rika and husband, Yomiuri Giants pitcher Nogami Ryoma welcome a baby boy

Former Morning Musume member Ishikawa Rika and husband, Yomiuri Giants pitcher Nogami Ryoma welcomed their first child, a baby boy on April 25th.

Ishikawa posted the good news on her official blog:

I have given birth to a healthy boy.

Both myself and the baby are healthy!

The experience of giving birth was far beyond what I imagined especially when I first saw my baby.

I think that my experience and impression far exceeded my imagination.

Thank you for Morning Musume for being there for me.  Sincere there are a lot of OG members who are now moms, I received advice in various ways.  As our baby grows, we will work hard as parents.    Please watch over us warmly.

All third generation Morning Musume members are now parents along with Ishikawa, Tsuji Nozomi, Yoshizawa Hitomi and Kago Ai have children.

Yoshizawa Hitomi posted a congratulatory message on her blog and wrote:

Congratulations on the birth of a cute baby!  And thank you for your baby cheers for good work.

I’m going to meet a cute, cute baby right away!
