TOKYO member Kokubun Taichi (43) who also stars on the TBS morning show “Vivid” said on the April 27th broadcast that he has met with Yamaguchi Tatsuya.
Kokubun along with TOKIO leader Joshima Shigeru met with Yamaguchi after the emergency press conference yesterday afternoon.
What was discussed at their meeting, Kokubun said he is unable to say at this time but the fact that Yamaguchi apologized to them. But he said that people should think about the victim and give hope that the victim and their families can return to their normal lives.
Last Friday, FUJI TV reported that TOKIO member, Yamaguchi Tatsuya, was sent documents under suspicion of forced indecency.
According to the report, Yamaguchi (46) invited a 16-year-old girl who he met through his show NHK “R no Hosuku” (R’s Law) to his home back in February, encouraged her to drink alcohol and forced her to kiss him.
Yamaguchi sent out a statement last week, “I have offered my apology with my whole heart to the victim, who has agreed to come to a settlement”.
As punishment for his actions, he will be suspended from entertainment activities indefinitely.
FUJI TV announced that Yamaguchi’s part in “TOKIO KAKERU” will be cut out in the upcoming broadcast.
The show that was supposed to air on April 25th was replaced by another program and the show that was to be shown would be edited.
