Arimura Kasumi shares a few off-shot from her new photobook, “Clear”

Arimura Kasumi’s photobook “Clear” featuring photos by Kawashima Kotori was released on May 9th.

The photobook’s theme was to showcase Arimura at the age of 25 and the book was self-produced.  She chose the photographer, she chose the location of Melbourne, Australia and also wanted the photos to be shot in film, instead of digital.

Arimura and Kawashima worked together for her first photobook 2013 when she turned 20-years-old.

On May 12th, Arimura posted a few off-shots from her latest photo collection on Instagram and has received over 156,000 views in the first ten hours of posting.

Shot in Melbourne, Australia, Arimura wrote, “Because it was all shot in film, it was impossible to confirm how the photos turned out on the spot.  I was so excited to see the pictures for the first time after returning to Japan.”

Comments received ranged from “You are so cute!”, “I feel happy just by looking at it!”, “Kasumi is the cutest in the world!” and other comments such as “I didn’t think undisclosed photo collections could ever be released”.
