Tomosaka Rie posted a photo of herself at the age of 13 writing, “A mystery of advertising photograph of me at the age of 13, as I look more mature then than I do now. #13 years old”.
Back in 1992, Tomosaka made her debut at 12-years-old for a Toyota commercial and on the NHK drama “Kora~ Nanbashiyotto”.
But in 1993, she starred in the Fuji TV drama “Subarashi kika na Jinsei” (Wonderful Life) which would lead to more commercials and literally become one of the top faces on commercials and magazines in the ’90s.
Tomosaka Rie would reach super popularity in 1995 topping many popularity polls after she starred in the NTV drama “Kindaichi Shounen Jinkenbo” starring opposite of Domoto Tsuyosho (KinKi Kids).
