Actress/model Nagano Mei, not feeling it with the “Hanbun, Aoi” staff T-shirt

Actress/model Nagano Mei is starring in the NHK morning drama “Hanbun, Aoi” (Half, Blue).

In the drama, Nagano plays the character Nireno Suzume, who was born in 1971 on the same day of her friend Hagio Ritsu (portrayed by Sato Takeru).

Growing up as close friends in a small town in Gifu Prefecture and always supportive of her shy friend, while Ritsu always wants to protect Suzume, after she lost her hearing in one ear due to an illness.

Ritsu lends Ritsu the shojo manga of Akikaze Haori, which inspires her to draw manga.   When she goes to meet Akikaze and finds out she is actually a man, he asks her to work for him.

While she goes to Tokyo to work for him and Ritsu attends college in Tokyo.

But when Akikaze fires Suzume for throwing out an important draft for a manga (which in fact, he actually misplaced), he travels to Gifu in hopes to bring her back and put her through real training to become a manga artist.

Actress/model Nagano Mei worked as an exclusive model for “Seventeen” (Shueisha) and loves clothes.  Often showcasing clothes that are more calming.

While Nagano is known to show off her fashion on her Instagram, she posted the following photo:

Nagano posted, “Half Blue T-shirt #It’s embarrassing to go out wearing this #I was embarrassed to take pictures  #I will put it in my room today LOL #I will return back to Tokyo with it as a souvenir”.

Fans responded with comments such as “Wow! It’s cute!”, “Even as outdoor clothes, it’s fine!”, “There are many people who like this T-shirt, please sell it!”.
