DA PUMP’S “U.S.A.” closing in on 5 million views on YouTube

DA PUMP released their latest single on June 6th titled “U.S.A.”, their first single in three years and 8 months.

The song has caught the attention of Hello! Project fans due to the songs lyrics and upbeat dance. Some saying that it reminded them of Morning Musume’s classic hit, “Love Machine”.

Over 2,000 people came out to their single release event in Ikebukuro and “U.S.A.” also was the top song on iTunes Japan on June 6-7.  It also ranked first in ITunes top music video ranking.

DA PUMP’s new single has trended online with many people trying to do the dance moves and their music video for “U.S.A.” surpassed 1 million views in three days and now is on its way to reaching 5 million views (the video has since surpassed 4.7 million views).
