Kimura Takuya and Ninomiya Kazunari grace the cover of “UOMO” September issue

Former SMAP member Kimura Takuya and ARASHI member Ninomiya Kazunari are both starring in the upcoming film “Kensatsugawa no Tsumibito” (to be released in theaters in Japan on August 24th) and both are featured on the cover and an interview for the September issue of “UOMO” to be released on July 24th.

The film is a film adaptation of Shizukui Shusuke’s 2013 novel.

“Kensatsugawa no Tsumibito” revolves around two characters, Okino Keiichiro (portrayed by Ninomiya Kazunari) is a young prosecutor assigned to the Tokyo District Prosecutor’s Office of Mogami Takeshi (portrayed by Kimura Takuya).

Okino is assigned to investigate a homicide case involving Matsukura Shige involving an elderly couple.  Matsukura was also a person of interest in a murder case involving a junior high school teenager.

Mogami notices the name in the murder case and realizes it’s the same guy who was listed as a person of interest 23-years ago and the junior high school student was the daughter of the management couple of the dormitory he lived in during his college years.  Matsukura was released due to insufficient evidence.

As the case becomes personal for Mogami, what happens when the investigation leads to differences between both Mogami and Okino?

In addition, Kimura Takuya also graces the cover of SODA Magazine’s September issue which will be released on July 23rd.
