1996 Japanese hit drama “Long Vacation” to be released on Blu-ray in November 2018

The 1996 Fuji TV drama “Long Vacation” is considered one of the best Japanese dramas ever made.

With a 30.6% rating for the first episode and an average audience rating of 29.6%, needless to say, it was one of the most successful dramas released.

Written by Kitagawa Eriko (“Asunaro Hakusho”, “Kimi to Ita Natsu”, “Beautiful Life”, “Hanbun, Aoi”, “Orange Days”) and Starring Kimura Takuya, Yamaguchi Tomoko, Takenouchi Yutaka, Matsu Takako, Inamori Izumi, Ryou, Hirose Ryoko and more, the drama was known for its captivating story and awesome music.

And now “Long Vacation” will be released on Blu-ray on November 21st.  The set will come with three Blu-rays.

At this time, it is not known if the drama release will be a HD Remaster, nor if the LV special or any special features will be included.  But a special clear file will be available for those who pre-order.
