Seiyuu couple Yamadera Koichi and Tanaka Rie have divorced

They were the superstar seiyuu couple, Yamadera Koichi (best known as the voice actor for Jubei in “Ninja Scroll”, Spike in “Cowboy Bebop”, Beerus in “Dragon Ball Super”, Ryoga/P-chan and the Jusenkyo Guide in “Ranma 1/2) and Tanaka Rie (known for her role as Merribit Stapleton in “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans”, Monica Lange in “Macross Frontier”, Chi in “Chobits”, Lacus Clyne in “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED”) have filed for divorce.

Both were married in 2012 but they decided amicably to end their marriage last month.

Both sent out a statement that the time they spent with each other is irreplaceable and they are thankful to each other.

This will be Yamadera’s second divorce and Tanaka’s first.

Meanwhile, people have been chiming in on the WRONG Tanaka Rie Twitter page.  People have been going on the Twitter page for the Olympics representative for gymnastics in London, Tanaka Rie, which prompted her to tweet to people that they got the wrong person.
