We are now introduced to two main songs,”앞으로 잘부탁해” (Please, take care of me!) – Produced by Pledis Han Sung Soo and  “반해버리잖아?” (You’re in love, aren’t you?) – Produced by Akimoto Yasushi.

Trainers just explained that on August 31st, in 12 days, they will need to learn the song/dance for the songs they have been grouped with.  Also, the votes are going to be live after their performances and also live texting.

The trainess now have to vote which song they will want to do, main vocal or sub-vocals.  From 20 on on they pick first, higher ranked trainees can easily bump low-ranking trainees off.  For example, Park Haeyoon and Han Chowon are recognized for their vocals.  So, if they want to be the main vocalist, because they are not in the top 12, anyone in the top 12 can bump them off.

Now with the groups all organized…it’s team vs. team!

Everyone is now preparing their song and who will be singing which vocal part.

앞으로 잘부탁해” <We Together> – Produced by Pledis Han Sung Soo

“반해버리잖아?” (You’re in love, aren’t you?) – Produced by Akimoto Yasushi

Main Vocal: Kwon Eunbi

S1: Choi Yena

S2: Miyawaki Sakura

S3: Lee Gaeun

S4: Shiroma Miru

S5: Kang Hyewon

S6: Lee Chaewon

S7: Shitao Miu

S8: Takahashi Juri

S9: Han Cho Won

Now the trainees are going to show what they learned so far in front of the trainers.  The judges are not pulling any punches considering the voting for the top 12 is next week… Yikes!

The episode ends with the final goodbye to the top 10 who didn’t make it.

And a trailer for next week’s episode:

Overall, this episode was full of surprises.

First, my favorite moment of the episode 11…

The top 12 roster has been shaken once again.  After watching the M Countdown yesterday, I had a feeling that Shitao Miu would instantly move up.  Nearly all the comments were about here and she has attracted a lot of fans, which I think began with episode 7-8.  But that was a super jump.

I did not expect Kwon Eunbi or Ahn Yujin to drop, nor did I expect to see Choi Yena stay at #16.

I didn’t think Pledis’ Heo Yoon Jin to exit, but it happened.

Looking at the top 20, to be truthful, to pick the top 12 would be difficult.  I didn’t predict Shitao would be ranked in the top 12, but I did see her popularity go up.  Nor did I predict Miyazaki Miho staying strong for another week straight.  But I see possibly one or two of these three getting into the top 12:

16.  Choi Yena –  Yuehua (215,828 votes)

14.  Ahn Yujin – Starship (238,959 votes)

13.  Han Cho Won – Cube (243,234 votes)

The following two have the possibility of dropping.  Honda has remained consistent at 12 but Han Chow Won and Ahn Yujin are not far away.  Choi Yena is popular among the trainees but she is not getting the votes and her rating has been erratic. Ahn Yujin has talent but she benefits more when paired with Jang Wonyoung versus being paired with Lee Gaeun.  Her last two pairings with Lee Gaeun, the results were not satisfactory with voters.  Han Cho Won is talented as a singer/rapper.  Shitao is moving on up and it’ll be interesting to see how things go with her as Shitao and Shiroma are becoming known for their dancing and beauty.

11.  Honda Hitomi – AKB48 Team 8 (250,011 votes)

10. Shitao Miu – AKB48 (261,023 votes)

The top 12 also has wildcards.  Kang Hyewon is a trainee that is known for working hard and her unique friendship with Sato Minami but talent-wise, is the weakest of the top 12.  She does have a strong personality that has kept her in the top 5.  Lee Chaeyon is another wildcard who has bounced up and down the rankings and is the least consistent of the top 12.  She has talent and great balance at dancing and vocals.

4.  Kang Hyewon – 8D Entertainment (311,212 votes)

3.  Lee Chaeyon – WM (327,445 votes)

But it’s going to be a tough episode 12.  Each of these 20 trainees are talented and to cut eight more would be tough.  But I do see the potential of a secondary and even a tertiary group, if certain trainees don’t make the top 12.
