"Produce48" Korean trainees went to Japan to perform alongside Japanese trainees at a guerilla "Produce48" live performance at a AKB48 Handshake Event

The day began with Produce48 Korean trainees all arriving to the airport. It made us wonder, “that’s weird to see the ‘Produce48’ Korean trainees going to the airport?” (it’s usually the Japanese trainees arriving and leaving the airport in South Korea).

And then tweets and Instagram posts of the trainees arriving at Haneda Airport…

For those who are surprised that #PRODUCE48 only performed Nekkoya, they could only perform during the 30 min break in between handshakes so that’s why they only had enough time for everyone to do their self intros and one song. It’s not really the place for a show
