AKB48’s Honda Hitomi was one of the three Japanese trainees (alongside HKT48’s Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako) voted in the top 12 and will become part of the global pop group, IZONE.
Honda wrote on Twitter, “Thank you to everyone who watched Produce48! My wish of debuting has come true and I’m really happy!! I will do my best!”.
