Goto Maki wants to make it clear that she admires Matsuura Aya and that they are friends

Former Morning Musume member Goto Maki appeared on NTV’s “Dare datte Haran Bakusho” and she was asked about her relationship with Matsuura Aya.

The discussion was picked up by news outlets and certain outlets took it that the two did not get along.

Goto Maki was no doubt one of the most popular Morning Musume members when she joined in 1999 and Matsuura Aya was one of the popular solo singers of Hello! Project.  Both were also part of the shuffle unit, Gomatto (along with Fujimoto Miki).

Goto wanted to clear the air on her blog and tackle news that they misunderstood the discussion that she and Matsuura Aya are not good friends, when they are.

Goto wrote that she is respectful towards Matsuura Aya’s work, how she admires Matsuura and both are able to discuss their feelings to each other.
