Takeuchi Miyu to graduate from AKB48

AKB48 member Takeuchi Miyu announced her graduation through a live stream on SHOWROOM LIVE and her YouTube channel.

One of the popular Japanese trainees on “Produce48” who made it into the top 20 and no doubt one of the top vocalists in the AKB48G, Takeuchi is determined to continue her activities as a singer/songwriter and is also studying English and Korean.

Takeuchi wrote, “I announced my graduation.  I will be graduating this year with AKB48 who took care of me for ten years.  Thank you very much to AKB staff, members, fans, friends, family members who allowed me to my work freely.  I look forward to your continued support”.

Trained in classic ballet and also a musician who can play the piano, trumpet and guitar, Takeuchi joined AKB48 as a trainee back on September 2009 and was promoted in December 2010 as part of Team Unknown.

Takeuchi would eventually transfer to Team 4 in 2011 and then to AKB48 Team B in August 2012.
