Shiraishi Mai and Tanaka Kei were selected “Face of the Year” by Nikkei Trendy

Nogizaka46’s Shiraishi Mai (26) and Tanaka Kei were selected as “Face of the Year 2018” at Nikkei Trendy’s “2018-Nen Hit shōhin Best 30 Happyōkai” (2018 Hit Item Best 30 Presentation Day).  Nakamura Tomoya (31) was selected as “Face of Next Year for 2019”.

Shiraishi on being selected as “Face of the Year” said, “I am worried about whether I should be anxious.  I am surprised, but it is a pleasure”.

In addition, Nogizaka46’s photo collection ranked in the “Hit Shōhin Best 30”.

Amuro Namie, who retired in September, was No. 1 on the list.  This was the first time a person was listed in 19 years since Utada Hikaru was listed in 1999.
