Yamamoto Sayaka performed her last performance with NMB48

NMB48’s Yamamoto Sayaka (25) has officially graduated from the group.

The leader of NMB48 performed at her last graduation performance at Osaka’s Namba Theater which she has performed at for the past eight years.

Yamamoto said, “I was a high school student when I entered NMB48, I felt happy about myself, worried about unexpected events, had a lot of regretful tears and sorrowful tears.  However, I was able to become stronger and if I look back at it now, that was my youth.  There was a lot of things that happened in the past eight years, but I am able to say that I had in my heart and my mind, I had a good time as an idol and it was really nice to meet all of the members and you”.

Yamamoto will focus on her career as a singer/songwriter and she told the fans in attendance, “Please do not forget about me”.
