Keyakizaka46 management has announced that Shida Manaka has officially graduated from the group

Keyakizaka46’s Shida Manaka announced back on May3rd that she was taking time off from Keyakizaka46 and how, since February, her physical condition has gotten worse and that she needed to take a break.  She went to the hospital in March and the result was that she needed to take a long rest and not participate in any Keyakizaka46 activities.

Today, Shida announced that she has graduated from the group.

Shida posted on her Keyakizaka46 blog:

I was thinking about graduating from the beginning of this year and thought about it.  I am grateful to the staff who gave me time to rest and the time to think about it.

I went back and forth with the idea of keeping quiet or continuing.

I went to see and watched the rehearsals in Niigata back in the summer.  I went to the dressing room of members and talked with them.  We laughed a lot. 

Shida also posted:

The time I was with Keyakizaka was from the second year of high school and that time was a very important time in my life.  Above all, I want to thank the members of Keyakizaka46. 

From now on, I will support you behind the scenes.  I really appreciate these last three years.
