Cheeky Parade’s Sekine Yuuna promotes her 2019 calendar, talks about her challenges experienced this year

Former Cheeky Parade member Sekine Yuuna was at the Tokyo Metropolitan Bookstore on November 18th to promote the release of her 2019 calendar.  When asked by media about the coverage, Sekine admitted that she was quite nervous going out to the media by herself.

When asked about her feelings of having a calendar released, Sekine said, “I am very happy because my own work will be released for the first time”.

When asked about the concept, Sekine said she selected the clothes that she would wear and wore it.  She said her favorite photo is for November in which she wears a white park and wearing boy’s clothes that are slightly big, but she likes that style.

When media asked where they can put her calendar, she replied “On your company desk! In your house at bedside or in the living room!”.

When asked about how her 2018 was, Sekine responded that it was challenging.  After the group which has been active for seven years ended, after that, she challenged gravure.  But while it was a challenging year, she is grateful to have worked in that environment.

When Sekine was asked about doing gravure she said, “Nice body, big breasts.  I do not feel like I have that, so the first time shooting gravure photography was tense and I was embarrassed.  But gradually, I felt relaxed when taking photos”.

When asked what she wanted to do in 2019, Sekine responded, “I want to do my best to appear in dramas and movies.  In gravure, I want to try to challenge doing a cover for a magazine and publish my own photo album”.
