How far would one go to become an idol? “Sekai de Ichiban Kanshi Audition” (The Saddest Audition in the World) to be screened at Theater Shinjuku on January 11th

How far would one go to become an idol?  One will find out in the audition documentary film “Sekai de Ichiban Kanshi Audition” (The Saddest Audition in the World) which will be screened at Theater Shinjuku on January 11th.

24 idol hopefuls will take part in a harsh audition boot camp style in a remote island in Kyushu in hopes to become an idol for WACK (the office responsible for BiSH, BiS, GANG PARADE, EMPiRE).  The idol hopefuls take on harsh trials of singing, dancing and more to test their motivation and luck of becoming an idol.

Producer Watanabe Junosuke calls it the idol version of “Full Metal Jacket” as idol hopefuls dream of becoming an idol is put to a test in a boot camp.
