AKB48 trainees celebrate Sato Minami’s 15th birthday, Sato said she is thankful to fans all over the world who watched “Produce48” and supported her

Sato Minami, an AKB48 Kenkyuusei (trainee) for Team A has no doubt had a good year since appearing on “Produce48”.

Today, her fellow trainees from Team A celebrated her birthday.

Known for her close mother and daughter relationship with IZ*ONE’s Kang Hyewon, to this day both continue to do their pose, may it be at public events but also showing support for each other to this day.

There was a time when Satou thought about withdrawing from the group but since appearing on “Produce48” it made her grow.  And now she wishes to be promoted to AKB48 and will fight for that opportunity.

Sato said that if she did not participate in “Produce48”, handshake meetings would remain the same but now there are many people who watched “Produce48” and are coming out to see her.  She is very grateful and told them that she loves her fans very much.
