NGT48’s Nakai Rika(who was center for NGT48’s single “Seishun Tokei” released back in April 2017) has taken first place for the “2018 Talent Bangumi Shutsuen Honsu Ranking” (2018 Talent Program Appearance Ranking) according to Nihon Monitor, earning her as this year’s Breakthrough Talent.
Nakai increased her television appearances from 25 to 257, an increase of +208 appearances for 2018.
Nakai ranked #23 in the 9th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election and #37 in the 10th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election.
Nakai still remains popular despite a Bunshun report that she was living with an NGT48 fan and that she was dating someone, which she has denied.
