Wakatsuki Yumi’s final day as a Nogizaka46 member at her graduation ceremony

Wakatsuki Yumi (24) joined her fellow Nogizaka46 members at Tokyo Budokan on December 4th, which also marked her graduation performance.

Wakatsuki said, “I never expected to end things with a smile, I thought that I would cry a little but I am happy I could finish with a smile like this.  It was a very idol life of “greeting with a smile”.

The members presented Wakatsuki with a flower.   As many wiped their tears, Shiraishi Mai opened her arms and gave Wakatsuki a big hug.  While Nogizaka46 captain Sakurai Reika was crying and could not raise her face up, handed her flowers and said “Thank you”.

Wakatsuki has been a part of Nogizaka46 since the formation of the group back in August 21, 2011.
