IZ*ONE NEWS: IZ*ONE spotlight on “non-no”, making Christmas cards, “Amazing Saturday” and more!

IZ*ONE is featured on the women’s fashion publication “non-no” and a profile is featured for each of the members.

Here are a few key things learned from the spotlight:

Jang Wonyoung – Wonyoung’s childhood dream is to be an announcer.  Wonyoung said, “I like talking to people and I want to convey various events to the world”.  When asked what was the last favorite item she bought, Wongyoung said, “It is a stuffed animal.  On the day before the ‘non-no” shooting, there were opportunities to visit shops together with the other members.  I bought it and embrace it”.

Miyawaki Sakura – When asked what animal she can compare herself with, Sakura said “cat”.  Sakura said, “I am shy and I can’t make friends from the beginning or be friendly.  However, I start to get along well when the relationship deepens”.  When asked when the last time she cried, Sakura said, “When I called my mom and she encouraged me and said, ‘I’m rooting for you’.  I was crying and crying”.

Jo Yuri – When asked what her childhood dream was, Yuri said, “When I was in elementary school, I was learning classical piano to enter art schools.  So, I always wanted to do work involving music.  Now that I can debut as IZ*ONE, my dream came true, so I am happy!  When asked if she can take one member to an uninhabited island, who would she take?  Yuri said, “Chaeyeon.  Since her heart is warm and her cooking is good, she is able to prepare delicious meals even if she had to use insects (laughing)”.

Choi Yena – On her favorite Japanese words she likes using, Yena said, “sou nandeskua?” & “honto desu ka!?”.  When asked on how she refreshes, Yena said, “I like to go out because I’m the active type.  I also cherish the time I enjoy alone.  I love crane games and I want to put game machines in my room.  For example, when I want to drink water, I can operate a crane and pick up a water bottle (laughing).

Ahn Yujin – When asked who her favorite Japanese celebrity was, Ahn Yujin said, “Miyawaki Sakura.  When I heard a rumor that she was going to appear on ‘Produce48’, I searched on the Internet and she was amazingly beautiful.  When I actually met her, she is interesting and polite and she has been teaching me various things like a real older sister”.  When asked where she would like to go to in Japan, Yujin said, “Since I enjoyed having walked around Dotonbori with my family in Osaka before, I would like to go with members this time.  Also, I’m very anxious about Tokyo Disney Sea”.

Kwon Eunbi –  When asked about her favorite fashion, Eunbi said, “For all seasons, denim.  I am interested in dresses and hats, hats in the autumn/winter.  What I’d like to challenge is leopard patterns.  Also, the fashion of Japanese members is very cute, so I like to consult with them”.  When asked what she uses for bodycare, Eunbi said, “Jelly-type body wash is my favorite.  It feels good to use after refrigerating it in the refrigerator”.

Kang Hyewon – When asked if she could take one thing on an uninhabited island, what would she bring.  Hyewon said, “A Playstation.  I wanted one for a long time and recently bought one.  I am addicted to a game with a story”.  When asked about her favorite Japanese food, Hyewon said, “Takoyaki.  In Korea, there are food trucks and convenience stores.  In Japan, I want to try their authentic taste as well”.

Yabuki Nako – If you can take one thing on an uninhabited island, what would you take?  Is there a 4D pocket?  (laughing) I don’t like to be alone, so I would take my senior, Saki-chan (Sakura) who I can depend on”.  When asked of how she spends her day off, Nako said, “I go to movies or shopping alone. I can not decide what to buy because I’m indecisive and so I sent photos to my mother and listen to her.  So, it takes some time (laughing)”.

Honda Hitomi – When asked of her favorite hobby, Hitomi said “Sports.  Previously, I was a cheerleader for a local professional basketball team for six years, so I went to the matches on the weekend.  Recently, I like to look at Instagram on how to cook”.   When asked about the last time she stressed out, Honda said, “Dying my hair.  In Korea, idols have a cute image with dyed hair and I longed for it.  I have never dyed my hair, so I’m glad to see it now with a color of red/orange”.

Kim Chaewon – When asked if she can take only one thing to an uninhabited island, who would she take, Chaewon said, “It’s a difficult question but if I can, I would like to bring my sister.  Because she’s dependable, and if she stays with me, I wouldn’t be scared in an uninhabited island and she would find a way to escape quickly”.   When asked where she would like to visit in Japan, Chaewon said, “I have never had many sightseeing opportunities yet but Tokyo Disneyland would be the best.  I would like to go with the other members if possible”.

Kim Minju – When asked about her favorite Japanese food, Minju said, “Sukiyaki and Takoyaki.  I have not eaten sukiyaki in Japan, only in Korea.  So I would like to eat it in Japan.  Recently, Sakura made me try Japanese-style rice ball for the first time, it was delicious and I was impressed”.  When asked how she spends the day off, Minju said, “Having meals with my family.  It’s a previous time because I can not meet them as much.  Someday, I would like to go to a Japanese hot spring with my family”.

Lee Chaeyeon – When asked about her favorite fashion, Chaeyeon said, “a style that shows off long legs”.  When asked about her favorite cosmetic method, Chaeyeon said, “I massage my face and body before going to bed at night, so I don’t swell.  Since I have sensitive skin, I also care about what I eat.  I’m trying to avoid any instant food as much as possible”.

IZ*ONE is promoting their “COLOR*IZ SHOW CON” in Japan.

IZ*ONE’s Kwon Eunbi and Ahn Yujin appeared on “Amazing Saturday”.

The hosts were shocked about Ahn Yujin is 15-years-old.
