Morning Musume's Iikubo Haruna graduation special

Morning Musume ’18’s Iikubo Haruna (24) performed for the fans one last time as a member of the idol group.

Held at Tokyo Nippon Budokan on December 16 for the Morning Musume ’18 concert (Morning Musume ’18 Concert Tour Autumn ~GET SET, GO!~Final Iikubuo Haruna Graduation Special), approximately 10,000 people were there to support Iikubo. The group performed 21 songs and the audience screamed in unison “Haruna” as an encore.

Iikubo came out and said, “There were a lot of things I experienced. I was inexperienced at the time of joining, singing and dancing and while I was one of the oldest members, I couldn’t do much. So, there were times it was difficult. But all of you cheered me up and you would cheer for me at all times. I was able to grow in front of everyone’s eyes for the past seven years and that was because of all of you.

Iikubo was a tenth-generation Morning Musume member and sub-leader of the group. She joined the group in 2011 and her member color is “honey”.
