Morning Musume ’18 member, Iikubo Haruna to graduate from the group at the end of September

Fashion model, actress and sub-leader of Morning Musume ’18, Iikubo Haruna, has announced that she will be graduating from the group.

Iikubo wrote:

I, Iikubo Haruna, will be graduating from Morning Musume ’18 after the autumn tour on the last day of September.   As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the group, I began to think not only about the future of the group but also about my future.  In my time with the group, concerts were the most enjoyable, not only just singing and dancing but also performing the MC and performing the songs as part of the live performance.

Aside from singing and dancing, I like to act, to talk on the radio, to manga and fashion and meeting people overseas.  I have many things I want to do, many dreams.  I know it may seem that I am greedy but it was through Morning Musume that taught me there are infinite possibilities, hope and the love of this world.  What is the challenge that you desire now?  There are a lot of things I want to challenge and so I am graduating from Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project.

I would like to continue to do my best in the entertainment industry as Iikubo Haruna.

I may not be able to produce the best results but that is part of the challenge and I will do my best to make announcements to everyone who support me.
