Yokoyama Reina of Morning Musume. ’18’s father passed away on June 17th. The funeral ceremony was held on June 20th.
While Yokoyama appeared on stage, the message of her father’s passing came in before the opening performance of “Pharaoh no haka ~Jao Suneferu~” at Hotel Mielparque Osaka. She was allowed to not attend the single release event at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens and was unable to announce any details until the funeral was over.
Yokoyama will also be absent at the single commemoration event for their latest single “Are you Happy?/A gonna” on Sunday, June 24th.
