Aimer’s gets her first #1 appearance in the Oricon Weekly Single Ratings

Singer Aimer took #1 on the Oricon Weekly Single Rating (January 7-13) for her single “I beg you/Hanabira-tachi no machi/Sailing”.

Aimer is also the first female solo artist that took first place since Iwasa Misaki back on January 20, 2014.  The #1 ranking is also Aimer’s first time at #1 since her debut back in September 2011.

Aimer said, “I reach first place for my CD single in the eighth year since my debut.  I realize that I reached so many people and I am honestly happy and very emotional.  I feel live I have everyone cheering me on and pushing me forward so in 2019, it will be a wonderful year”.
