The Warner Bros. film “Juni-nin no Shinitai Kodomo-tachi” (Twelve Children Who Want to Die) earned over 339 million in the box office in three days and is expected to make 2 billion yen ($18.3 million US).
The film which is based on Ubukata Tow’s novel is about 12 children who go to an abandoned hospital to give up their lives. But in the room, they meet a boy who is lying down in a gurney and is dead. Who is he?
Ubukata is known for inspiring the “Mardock Scramble” films.
