Kimura Takuya (46) stars in the film “Masquerade Hotel” and he surprised audiences at the theater watching the film at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya on February 4th.
Prior to the event after the screening of the film, Kimura snuck in to a seat with the viewing audience disguised with a mask and glasses.
After the screening, he rose from his chair and greeted the audience which sent people cheering and screaming at the venue.
Kimura said he was happy to hear people enjoying the film and people who said they wanted to see it again.
“Masquerade Hotel” has made 2.6 billion yen (US $23 million) in its first 17 days.
