Watanabe Eri and Tsuchiya Ryota announced their divorce

Celebrity couple Watanabe Eri (64) and Tsuchiya Ryota (51) have announced their divorce.

The two released the following statement from their agencies, “As a couple, as who love theater and having spent a long period of 23 years together from marriage today and support each other.  We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts”.

Although details are not released of why they are divorcing, both said they will continue to work together in the theater.

Watanabe married Tsuchiya who was then a member of “Sanju Maru” which he was in charge of and the two married in 1995.
