AKB48G General Director Mukaichi Mion responds to NGT48 graduations

After the announcements from NGT48 Team G members Yamaguchi Maho, Sugahara Riko and Hasegawa Rena, new AKB48G General Director Mukaichi Mion took to Twitter to write the following:

Mion wrote:

The fact that there are three members graduating is very upsetting and painful.  With fans worried so much, I am so sorry that I was not able to change a single thing, even though I am in the position to protect the members and the group. 

I want to think it through and find out what is being done right, what is wrong and how we can make this place where members can continue to do their best and chase their dreams.  As an idol, as a girl, I want everyone to be happy.  That’s all.

While we admire Mion’s optimism and wanting to do what’s right, the real problem lies upon AKS upper management because there is only so much she can do with her position.
