Koei Tecmo achieves their best sales performance, “Dead or Alive 6” sells 350,000 copies worldwide

Koei Tecmo recently released their financial statement and it was revealed that “Dead or Alive 6” (for the PS4, XBOX One and Steam) sold 350,000 copies worldwide.

The company released the basic free version and “Dead or Alive 6 World Championship” has been held around the world since April and has been a part of the growing eSports field.

Koei Tecmo announced an increase in net sales, operating income and net income and achieved the best performance since Koei and Tcmo merged.  The increase in net income has also increased for nine consecutive years.

For the “Team Ninja” brand, alongside “Dead or Alive 6”, sales of “Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia” have done well thanks to the campaign as the game celebrates its second anniversary in Japan and its first anniversary overseas.

Koei Tecmo also saw positive with their “ω-Force” brand with sales of “Musou Orochi 3” (for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, XBOX One and Steam) which shipments have surpassed 700,000.

Their “Gust” brand continues to be successful with the 20th anniversary of the Atelier series with “Nelke & the Legendary Alchemist ~Ateliers of the New World~” (for the PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch and Steam) and “Atelier Lulua: The Alchemist of Arland 4”.

For their “Ruby Party” brand, the “Kiniro no Corda Octave” games and “Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 6 DX” (to be released on May 21st for the PS4 and Switch).  In addition, their “Neo Romance Live Corda SONGS” have achieved success with five events bringing in 90,000 people.

And their “Midas” brand are focused on the development of new smartphone games.
