Nakai Masahiro on his new program “Kinyo Purachi Naito Shin Nippondanji to Nakai”

Nakai Masahiro discussed the anxiety he has about his new program “Kinyo Purachi Naito Shin Nippondanji to Nakai” (Friday Platinum Night – New Japan Boys and Naki) will be starting on May 3rd.

After finishing a taping for the first episode, Nakai said he was relieved.

Nakai said, “I’m worried until the beginning of production.  I have been to meeting with staff many times to discuss and work in order to bypass my anxiety.  But it was really the first time during production where I felt such anxiety”.

The new program will feature new Japan boys in a rapidly changing modern Japanese society and presenting a unique view of the world.  Featuring interviews with athletes, musicians and cultural individuals at the studio.

The first episode featured SHOWROOM president Maeda Yuji and former sumo wrestler and coach Takanohana Koji.

Nakai said even though it was challenging to record the first episode, it was completed successfully and he’s still anxious.  The series will begin every Friday at 12:30 a.m. on May 3rd.
