Actor Sorimachi Takashi praised on Twitter for rescuing a woman who had fallen ill

Sorimachi Takashi’s (45) name is trending on Twitter at the moment and it has to do with a good deed he did back on May 9th.

Sorimachi (best known for starring in the dramas, “Beach Boys” and “GTO”) rescued a woman who had fallen ill and was sitting on the street.

According to various Twitter sources, a woman in her twenties left work early on May 9th.  She had a high fever and was unable to move and felt numbness on her limbs while at Otorii Station.  She was helped by a company employee and tried to return home.  But on the way home, she sat on the street as she was unable to move.

Sorimachi happened to be nearby and saw as the company employee and three others tried to get her home.  Sorimachi called an ambulance and waited for emergency services to arrive.  He never told her his name and none of the others knew it was Sorimachi.

But the woman wrote on Twitter on May 11th that one of the people who came to her rescue was Sorimachi Takashi and she detailed how Sorimachi helped her.  The woman said that he is a good person and became a fan and thanked him.

The tweet was picked up and reported on television on “Mezamashi TV” and led to today’s #SorimachiTakashi trending on Twitter. Many happy to see Sorimachi’s manner of calling emergency services and not calling a family member.
