YOSHIKI feat. HYDE tops Amuro Namie and Utada Hikaru for Hong Kong National Radio Station RTHK for “Best Japanese Artist Award” and “Top Japanese Gold Song Award”

YOSHIKI feat. HYDE took first place for Hong Kong National Radio Station RTHK’s “Best Japanese Artist Award” and “Top Japanese Gold Song Award”.

YOSHIKI feat. HYDE’s “Red Swan” beat out Yonezu Kenshi’s “Lemon” and Amuro Namie’s “Showtime” for “Top Japanese Gold Song” and also taking first place/gold for “Top Artist/Group (Japan)”, while Amuro Namie and Utada Hikaru took silver and bronze.

The ceremony is sponsored by the National Television Network RTHK (Radio Television Hong Kong), established in 1928, and the “Top Gold Song Award” is one of the oldest major music awards in Hong Kong.

YOSHIKI is a leader of rock band X JAPAN, a drummer and a pianist. Hyde is the lead vocalist of the rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel.
