Utada Hikaru denies media article reporting that she had a secret dinner plan with Komuro Mako

Utada Hikaru (39) took to deny on Twitter media articles that she has a top secret secret dinner plan with Komuro Mako (formerly Princess Mako of Akishino, a former member of the Japanese imperial family).

Komuro Mako gave up her imperial title and left the imperial family as required by the Imperial Household Law when she married New York-based paralegal Komuro Kei in October 6, 2021.

Utada wrote, “I and Komuro Mako saw an article about planning a dinner in NY, but I can’t help but laugh at it. How many people will swallow such a myth? I’ve lived in London for 10 years now, but I wonder if this reporter chose me because I was born in NY and once lived in NY”.
