Ishino Takkyu has quit Sony Music Artists

Ishino Takkyu (51) of Denki Groove has posted on Twitter that he decided to quit Sony Music Artists (SMA).

Sony Music Artist also posted on the Denki Groove website that their management contract with Ishino was terminated on June 30, 2019.

Ishino wrote that he decided to leave because there is no clear activity plan for a year or two ahead, so he decided to leave.

As for Denki Groove, with Pierre Taki having been arrested back in March for suspected cocaine use and Taki’s management contract with SMA was terminated on April 2nd.  So, without Taki, there is no Denki Groove and with no plans in place for Ishino, that left Ishino Takkyu no alternative but to move on and pursue other entertainment activity by leaving SMA.

Both Ishino and Taki have been with SMA since 1991.
