48 Hours after the Miyasako Hiroyuki and Tamura Ryo apology press conference and this is what is happening now!

It has been almost 48-hours since the press conference of Miyasako Hiroyuki and Tamura Ryo and as mentioned in our previous article, the duo dropped a few bombs during their press conference and if anything, Yoshimoto Kogyo is the one that looked like the bad guys.  So bad, they were compared to AKS and Johnny’s Jimusho, both companies who have received a lot of negative comments for their response (or lack of response) which backfired on the company.

In the case of Miyasako and Tamura, both have tried to do a press conference as early as June but were forbidden to.  Miyasako was told to him by the President of Yoshimoto Kogyo, Okamoto Akihiko and for both popular comedians, they still have a hardcore fan following and respect among other comedians who came to the their defense.

As mentioned in our previous post, it was announced by various media that Tamura Ryo’s contract was canceled, but Yoshimoto Kogyo said after the press conference that it wasn’t.

On July 18th, both men were forced to retire or cancel their contract with Yoshimoto Kogyo and were told they should practice their Q&A for a retirement interview.  Both men didn’t retire, instead they had a media press Q&A to apologize to everyone as the company wouldn’t allow them to.

Akashiya Sanma said in radio program that he would like his office to hire Miyasako.

Downtown’s Matsumoto Hitoshi wanted to interview Yoshimoto Kogyo’s President Okamoto Akihiko for Fuji TV’s “Wide na show”.  This is interesting as Yoshimoto Kogyo’s CEO is Hiroshi Osaki, the man best known for being an influential figure in the rise of Downtown which Matsumoto belongs to.  Instead, a video was released featuring Okamoto discussing plans he has for the afternoon on July 22nd.

Media is reporting that Okamoto will be having an apology press conference on the 22nd for his power harassment remarks towards the two comedians.  Were are about eight hours away, so we will see what happens.

In addition, media is reporting that Yoshimoto Kogyo is now trying to renegotiate a settlement with Miyasako Hiroyuki to have him come back and resign with them for a new contract.

But after this debacle, would Miyasako want to come back?
