The return of London Boots Ichi-gō Ni-gō

Tamura Ryo (48) and Tamura Atsushi (46), both known as the comedy group London Boots Ichi-gō Ni-gō are back!

Tamura Ryo who was punished by Yoshimoto Kogyo for his role in attending a party hosted by an antisocial organization.

Both Tamura’s held a press conference at WALL & WALL in Omotesando on January 30th and Tamura Ryo said he would like to do an NHK Taiga or morning drama.  Because his grandpa still loves NHK.  But Tamura admitted that he needs to take things one step at a time.

Both men were asked if they saw Miyasako Hiroyuki’s YouTube video yesterday and Atushi said he didn’t watch it.

Ryo was asked if he had a grudge against Miyasako because of what happened and he said he had none.

The location of where the press conference was held, was the same location where Tamura and Miyasako Hiroyuki held their tearful apology press conference last July.  Tamura said he chose the location for a restart.

Last summer, numerous entertainers represented by Yoshimoto Kogyo, Co. (the largest comedy agency in Japan) were suspended or released by appearing at parties hosted by an antisocial organization.

One comedian, Irie Shinya of the comedy duo Karateka, has been released by Yoshimoto Kogyo, Co., for arranging the appearances that the parties without going through the agency.

Eleven celebrities had originally been suspended: Miyasako Hiroyuki, Tamura Ryo, Razor Ramon HG, Fukushima Yoshinari, Kumada Masashi, Hamasaki Punch, Kimura Takuhiro, Katsuyama Moody, Yasoshima Hiroyuki, Tsunemichi Hiroshi and Diego.
