Japanese idol group Wasuta (“The World Standard”) is the second idol group to receive threats, CD event canceled for TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2019

Earlier today, voice acting idol group i☆Ris canceled their appearance at TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2019 on August 2nd.  The group received word that someone was planning to cause harm to the members.  And the decision was made to cancel the appearance after consulting police, organizers, members and staff.

We are now learning that a second idol group has received threats and this time it is Japanese idol group Wasuta (“The World Standard”).

Avex Management announced that after consulting with the organizer, the police station and staff, the CD meeting with fans designated on August 2nd has been canceled.  But they will continue to participate in the live event slated for August 4th.
