Demoted, former NGT48 Team NIII captain Kato Minami makes first post on SNS through 755

Former NGT48 Team NIII Captain Kato Minami’s was demoted to NGT48 trainee (kenkyuusei), after she “accidentally” posted an insensitive comment about Yamaguchi Maho graduation performance meant for her close friends, made her first post on SNS through 755.

Kato wrote, “Nice to meet you from.  This is my first post on 755.  I am a bit nervous.  Today, I performed at the TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL 2019.  Despite the sudden announcement, I want to thank all the fans who came, especially during the heat! I am grateful to the people who gave us the opportunity to stand on the TIF stage as NGT48.  Thank you for the happy expressions from the fans.  We received a lot of energy and courage which many of us have been wanting to hear.  As a research student, I am prepared to do my best from scratch.  I would like to move forward with the fans, the members and staff.  Thank you.”
